Truth Design Academy is an innovative social enterprise founded by Ba Nga Afayo Initiative Uganda, to provide hands-on technical training and economic opportunities for young people from underserved communities in Uganda. Through its programs, Truth Design Academy aims to empower Uganda’s next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders by equipping them with practical skills in STEM, Design, and Multimedia.

Truth Design Academy offers specialized courses in high-demand fields such as graphic design, video production, 3D animation, digital marketing, and coding. The academy emphasizes experiential learning, blending technical skills with real-world projects and entrepreneurship training to prepare students for sustainable careers and economic independence. Graduates are encouraged to pursue entrepreneurial ventures, freelance work, or employment in Uganda’s growing tech and media sectors.

As the sustainability arm of Ba Nga Afayo Initiative Uganda, Truth Design Academy channels all proceeds generated from its programs back into the community. These funds directly support Ba Nga Afayo’s life-changing initiatives such as Education Enrichment, Sport for Development and Health programs. In this way, Truth Design Academy not only transforms the lives of its students but also fuels Ba Nga Afayo’s mission to uplift and empower marginalized children, youth, and young women in rural communities of Uganda.

With a mission to address youth unemployment and poverty, Truth Design Academy builds technical competencies while fostering creativity, leadership, and business acumen. By reaching young people from rural and underprivileged backgrounds, the academy is nurturing a diverse talent pool with the potential to drive social and economic transformation in their communities and beyond.
